Problem Customers needed a more cost effective and simpler alternative to the wire clamp brackets for mini and standard connectors that are used with PVC jacketed coil cords and other similar extension wire. Solution A wire strain relief insert was created that neatly fits into the crimp insert cavity and effectively hold the extension wire from being pulled out of the connector. This wire strain relief insert works much like a UL/CSA approved appliance power cord strain relief system. These inserts come in different sizes to accommodate different extension cable.
